At 3:00 p.m., we enjoyed a "Live on the Lawn" performance where a local actress told of Bob Bartlett from the viewpoint of one of his sisters. 2009 was the centennial of Bob Bartlett's famous Arctic voyage to the North Pole, so the province organized several activities to celebrate the occasion. Besides visiting his home in Brigus, we joined him on a simulated trip to the Arctic. The town of Brigus is one of the cutest towns we've ever seen.
